Bhasaly is provided at no charge. By using it you agree to what follows. It is short on purpose.
Using Bhasaly
Learn as much as you like, on as many devices as you like. There is no payment, no subscription and no advertising. You do not need an account; one only exists so your progress can follow you between devices.
Please do not attempt to disrupt the service, break into other people's accounts, or scrape the site in a way that degrades it for other learners.
Your account
You are responsible for the email address you sign in with. Sign-in is by emailed link, so anyone with access to your inbox can reach your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings, which removes your synced progress and your login record.
We may suspend an account that is being used to attack or abuse the service.
About the course content
Bhasaly's courses are researched carefully against textbooks, dictionaries and published course materials, but they are not a substitute for a teacher, and they carry no guarantee of accuracy. Languages vary by region, register and community, and a phrase that is correct in one place can be wrong or rude in another. Do not rely on Bhasaly alone where a mistranslation would matter — medical, legal, safety or immigration situations especially.
If you spot an error, please report it: Settings → Report an error or suggestion, or the link at the end of any lesson. Corrections from speakers are genuinely welcome and are how the courses improve.
Religious studies
Bhasaly includes an optional Religious studies mode with Christian Bible stories retold in each language. It is clearly separated from the language courses, it is never mixed into them, and it is entirely optional — nothing in the courses requires you to open it. The retellings are paraphrases written for learners, not a Bible translation, and should not be quoted as scripture.
Content and ownership
The course text, audio, artwork and code are ours. You are welcome to use Bhasaly to learn and to share links to it. Please do not republish the course content as your own or redistribute the audio as a separate product.
Anything you send us as feedback may be used to correct and improve the courses.
Availability
Bhasaly is offered as-is, with no promise that it will always be available, error-free, or that your progress will never be lost. Keep that in mind before treating it as your only record of anything. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from use of a service provided at no charge; nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Changes
These terms may change; the date at the top will change with them. Continuing to use Bhasaly after a change means you accept it.

Send anything — corrections, questions, complaints — through the contact form. It goes to a monitored inbox, and you can leave your email if you would like a reply.
